Ritual
A fifteen minute poem inspired by the Page of Pentacles card from the Light Seer's Tarot by Chris-Anne.

She stands in Tree pose
Her foot grounded to the earth.
She breathes in deeply,
hands pressed in prayer
eyes closed, she pushes her crown
into the heavens.
She has plans and dreams
rapping at her mental door,
to-do lists calling,
but first, she centers,
then stretches into Mountain,
whispers, “Be here now.”
Morning is blooming.
Warrior, then Triangle,
flowing through movement,
she holds back the world.
Meditating through her lungs,
singing with each breath,
this is the moment
that matters: Now. And Now.
And now. She inhales
the spirit of hope
and exhales her fears and doubts.
Time to get to work.

“She has plans and dreams
rapping at her mental door,
to-do lists calling,
but first, she centers,
then stretches into Mountain,
whispers, “Be here now.”
I love how she chooses presence before pressure—how the pause itself becomes an act of devotion. It feels like strength rooted in gentleness.
